School Times:
8:45 am - 3:15 pm
The Department for education states that schools should deliver a minimum of 32.5 hours per week, at Greenbank this is what we deliver.
School is open to pupils at 8:45 am
All children should be in class by 9:00 am.
Any pupils arriving after the bell at 9:00 am must sign in using the inventry system at the office.
School closes at 3:15 pm. Children need to be collected at this time
***after 3:30 pm a fine will be applied for every 15 minutes you are late to collect***
Nursery Sessions:
8:45 am - 11:45 am & 12:15 pm - 3:15 pm
Greenbank Breakfast Club:
Please contact school if you feel you require a place at breakfast club. Places are limited so we cannot guarantee a place.
Assemblies:
Year 3 to Year 6 - Monday at 9:10 am
Early Years to Year 2 - Friday at 9:10 am
What a typical day looks like:
Between 8:45 am and 9:00 am all Early Years children start the day with an active Freddy Fit Session which includes exercise to music, this invigorates their bodies and minds so they are ready to learn and improves the fitness of all our children.
Children in Y1 to Y6 start the day with Morning Maths, a Writing or Grammar activity or Micro Vipers (Reading Comprehension).
All children have a short break in the morning, and Key Stage 1 children also have an afternoon break. Breaktimes take place on one of our three playgrounds and, during the summer, on our school field:
