Test, Exam and Assessment Results
The school performance information shows how well pupils are doing by the end of Year 6. It includes the percentage of children who reach the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, as well as those who achieve a higher level. It also shows average test scores in reading and maths to give a clearer picture of overall attainment. These measures help to show how pupils have performed, although they do not take into account where children started from.
In most years, schools also receive progress measures, which show how much progress pupils have made compared to similar pupils nationally, but recent data does not include this due to Covid disruption. It is important to remember that this data is just one part of the picture and should be considered alongside other information about the school.
