Today we had a visit from Paul Waugh the Labour MP for Rochdale he had a tour of the school and did a presentation for year 6 and answered their questions.
It went brilliantly. The Year 6s were exceptionally well behaved and asked some fantastic questions, he was very inspiring and encouraging of the children and really instilled that they can all be whoever they want to be.
Paul told us that he went to Meanwood Primary School and was on free school dinners and never imagined he would be the MP for Rochdale.
We hope the children all left feeling inspired, confident and motivated.
