Year 1 parents and carers are warmly invited to our Phonics Meeting, led by Mr Turnbull, our Phonics Lead.
Phonics is a really important part of learning in Year 1 and helps children develop the skills they need to become confident readers. Mr Turnbull will explain how we teach phonics, how you can support your child at home and provide information about the statutory Year 1 Phonics Screening Check.
